Hello Folks,

I'm attempting to install fleur on Ubuntu 22.04 and it doesn't seem to be able to find the mpi files.

But I install the openmpi packages using the following commands in Ubuntu.

And I can run the command mpirun and see that it's present

What am I doing wrong?

P.S I'm using the following command "./configure.sh -includedir /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/openmpi/lib" to try to help it find the openmpi files.

The most probable guess on what went wrong is that probably the wrong compiler was detected and used. If you want to use MPI, you have to use the MPI compiler wrappers. You probably have to write something like

FC=mpif90

or similar just at the very beginning of the command line in which you call the configure script: In front of the configure script.
